While deviantART V5 is working great for me i found this new possibility that comes with V5. Some stuff on deviantART has this embed function which add flash code, copy&paste to your website/blog and use as flash image of work that is published on deviantART.
I setup this on first page of GUIStyles with some posts and will test it. Say what you think about it, how the post should look, only flash or flash plus info about title, author and link. I like this new flash embed but i am very careful with this kind of new technology so it will be tested on GUIStyles for near days.
If this will work good i will be very happy because it is perfect for service like GUIStyles, with easy copy&paste process of posting here on GUIStyles.
GUIStyles is for you so we are waiting for your opinions.

DOWNLOAD PROBLEMS
If download link is not active this means that work you want to download is offline on deviantART or other site that host this stuff. But from this post you have some information that can help you to find and download proper files. You know the title of this work and author, so you can always go to DeviantArt.com and ask/search author about his work. You can also use Google and paste there work title, maybe you will find proper download link or any information there. Good luck.

Well, I don’t like the flash. First of all I haven’t got it on all my computers (as I am a Free Software-fan), second it takes longer time to load. And also third; I don’t see the use - the previews are just smaller - and in FireFox I can’t middleclick to get it in a new tab as I always do.
Can you please revert to the good ol’ original picture with link? It’s so much more convenient! I hate how everything is flash nowadays, it just makes everything worse for us users
Thanks!

Well Odin / Velmont this is your BIG vote for the old one but i am still thinking about this. It is so easy to make a post, just copy and paste and it looks great and most of visitors have flash.

Well, it fu-ks up the RSS, with a normal RSS reader, we can’t see what the post is about… I use thunderbird for RSS.

Ok so there is a problem with RSS but you can always use better browser with FeedBurner.
Like i wrote i still don’t know but trust me this is so simple to use for admins.

I use Flock as RSS reader, so Flash shows up, but I don’t like it, it’s slow and looks bad. It probably is easier to you to post stuff, but is it really worth of possible lose of readers?

I think customisation means liberty, liberty of choice for your interface. If you help us have our liberty for our interface, why should we be forced to use an RSS reader wich can use flash?
I think it defeats the purpose of customisation.
